Innovation is in the DNA of Hell, from being the first delivery service to offer mobile EFTPOS back in 1997 to providing a completely free-range pizza menu in 2015.
Today is no different. We're introducing EatKinda Ice Cream to our dessert range — an innovative plant-based and gluten-friendly (yet still super creamy) ice cream…
You'd never guess this cream imposter 🥸
Our ice cream range is devilishly delicious, but what will surprise you about our new plant-based ice cream from EatKinda, is that it's made with... you're not going to believe this... cauliflower!
You won't be able to detect this cruciferous imposter because it's so ludicrously creamy it'll leave your taste buds wanting more. This groundbreaking product is developed and produced in Aotearoa and is available nationwide at Hell Pizza.
EatKinda uses rescued cauliflower wherever possible, which would otherwise go to waste. Because ice cream is about flavour — not food vanity (though the end result is pretty easy on the eyes).
It doesn’t just look good, it does good too.
Annually, over 150,000 tonnes of food waste is generated in Aotearoa, and approximately 60% of this food waste is edible — it's enough to feed the entire population of Dunedin for a whole year!
EatKinda is part of the shift towards a more sustainable future, using 93% less land, 81% less water, and 84% less greenhouse gas emissions than traditional milk production.
No one misses out
Made without dairy, gluten, soy, nuts, or artificial stuff — so even the pickiest eaters can partake! Choose from two sinful flavours, Strawberry Swirl and the NEW ✨ Chocolate Swirl ✨
Strawberry Swirl (Plant-Based)
It's like sinking your fangs into a fluffy pink cloud bursting with summer's best berries.
Chocolate Swirl (Plant-Based)
Wickedly rich chocolate ice cream with double chocolatey goodness to satisfy your cravings.
Melts in your mouth, not in the pot
Worried that your ice cream will melt before you finish your pizza? Fear not, because EatKinda ice cream has no cows' milk; it has a much higher melting point than regular ice cream.
And once you’ve scoffed the lot, the cherry on top is that the pottle is home-compostable — all the new EatKinda tubs are completely printed on, so they can go straight into the compost, no peel of the label 🪴
